超簡易 Android 4.2 透過 Tomato VPN 存取家中 NAS server. (上)

現在的 Cloud storage 實在很方便
不論是 Dropbox, Google Drive, M$ 的 SkyDrive.
都很方便可以同步一堆資料
由其是 Google Drive, 免費就是 15GB, 每個月60 塊台幣的話 就有100 GB的空間
但是還是有沒想到的意外狀況會需要存取家中的電腦
在這個重視環保的時代 (其實是電費貴貴)
家裡早就不開電腦做 BT 和開騾子了
取而代之的是
就是會有多功能 NAS 的使用





家裡是購買 Buffalo LinkStation  LS-WVL 和 LS-WXL.
因為幾個原因

A. 這個原因也是最重要的 , 這台NAS是少數最便宜支援 Raid 1 ( Mirroring ) 功能的 NAS.
     現在 NAS 裏面都存放小孩照片 硬碟要花$$ , 但是小朋友回憶無價!!

     Mirror 是萬一兩台硬碟當中有一台掛了, 另一台還有資料可以救回 , 這時要趕快把資 料              在另外妥善備份囉. 

B.  Buffalo NAS 的風評還不錯 , 而且可以 root, 然後 setup 你想要的 program.
     由其是 LS-WVL , 1.6G 的 ARM CPU , 256 M 的記憶體 , 要跑你想要的 application
     應該都是游刃有餘.

C. tool-chiain 可以在 IA32 上的 Linux cross compiler

maybe some other time I will introduce you how to compile an application for this high-C/P NAS server.


這次使用 Shibby  的 Tomato firmware 來 implement .
協定是 PPTP.
架設一個 PPTP server 來讓
Router 是 ASUS RT-N16
CPU 是 Broadcom BCM4716 , speed 480 MHz.
RAM : 128M.

下面幾個設定勾選或填寫一下

最後新增用來登入的使用者帳號密碼

最後別忘了要按下 Save 喔 !!
大功告成!!!
